On 8 October 2019, we noticed unusual activities on Anycoin Direct's servers. At the time we communicated this via our website and social media accounts. As things stand now, it cannot be ruled out that unauthorized persons may have gained access to our client data during this incident; that means names, email addresses, postal addresses, the IP address of computers used to set up Anycoin Direct accounts and in some cases clients’ birthdates. Right now, there is no indication that this concerns any other (privacy-sensitive) information. The incident has been reported to the police and to the Data Protection Authority.
